I was born in Amiskwaciy-wâskahikan (Edmonton) T.6 & spent a portion of my life living in Italy, primarily Roccagorga, Italy, where my paternal Nonni Immigrated from.
Then
My stylistic influences include Renaissance, Surrealist, medieval art & architecture, and the world around me.
I love thinking, and through my artistic practice, I aim to share images of my thoughts that can then be left open to subjective interpretation by the viewer.
Now
I’m currently practicing recovery and healing. I experienced a life altering injury several years ago. It’s affected my mental health and creativity. With pacing and getting to know my fluctuating capacities, I’m hoping to make my way back to rooting myself in yeg and incorporating an artistic career.
Mediums
I practice using mixed media, illustrations with ink, markers, acrylic, and watercolors. During my recovery, I have been experimenting with college, playing with textures, knitting, and digital art forums.
